Emmanuel Ayanfe Crown
Emmanuel Crown is a web developer in charge of managing all drupal web assets for the organization. He joined the World Bank in 2011 after developing a web application “Schematical” which emerged at the top in the 2011 Nairobi Random Hackness of Kindness (RHOK) software competition. Schematical is a virtual mapping system developed to enhance search and rescue efforts by providing rescue respondents with the exact location and condition of a victim in a building all displayed in real time on a 3D map.
Prior to joining the Bank, Emmanuel worked with the Kenya Red Cross Society where a team of talented developers developed various web applications used by the Red Cross for humanitarian work.
