2015 Financial Inclusion Insights Survey in Rwanda and Ghana

To get a better understanding of mobile money usage in Rwanda and Ghana, CGAP funded the 2015 Financial Inclusion Insights Survey in these two countries. Executed by InterMedia, this nationally-representative survey of adults measures how many adults are using mobile money, for what purpose, and how mobile money is driving financial inclusion.

Even though Rwanda has low rates of technical literacy and handset usage, digital financial services have reached the same levels of active usage as Ghana, which has a much more "mobile-ready" population.
