The CGAP Cross-border Funder Survey provides an overview of the microfinance funding landscape and global trends in cross-border funding. It is based on data reported by the major cross-border funders, complemented with CGAP estimates where indicated.

December 2011 MENA Updates: The first issue of the CGAP and Sanabel joint Middle East and North Africa (MENA) bi-annual update on the microfinance industry is now available online. The MENA Update aims at sharing information about funders’ activities in the region in order to facilitate coordination and exchange. This edition includes an interview with Johannes Majewski from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), regional updates and country specific developments. The MENA Update is available in English, Arabic, and French.

2011 Microfinance Social Investor Meeting, held in Den Bosch: More than 30 investment organizations exchanged ideas on practical steps to implement the UN-backed Principles for Investors in Inclusive Finance (PIIF).
