Oya Pinar Ardic

Economist. Before joining CGAP in 2010, Oya was an associate professor at the Department of Economics at Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey. She holds a bachelor of arts degree and a master of arts degree in economics from Bilkent University, and a master of science degree and doctorate in economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Oya’s research focuses on topics in economic growth and development, international finance, macroeconomics, socioeconomics, and more recently, access to finance. She has co-authored and published papers in several peer-reviewed academic journals. She speaks Turkish and English.
