About the project

WIZZIT provides transaction banking via mobile and a MasterCard debit card, aimed at unbanked low-income clients. Through this project, WIZZIT will seek to develop new avenues for selling its services which take it beyond its WIZZKids, who are typically young and un- or underemployed individuals trained to sell WIZZIT directly to clients. As a first initiative, WIZZIT has undertaken a major advertising campaign in Limpopo province to announce its partnership with the Post Office, through which clients can get a WIZZIT starter pack and file account opening forms at 300 locations. WIZZIT has also explored partnerships with retailers.
