Financial Sector Specialist. Sarah works on CGAP's Technology and Business Model Innovation Team where she leads the work on branchless banking in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU). She also manages the team's work on government-to-person payments (G2P), looking at ways to leverage this large flow of money to bring the poor, unbanked into the formal financial system.

Prior to joining CGAP, Sarah worked with a microfinance bank in Rwanda, worked for a development nonprofit on education project in Haiti and Africa, and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin. She has a master's degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
