Xavier Faz

   

Senior Technology Advisor. Xavier is an advisor to the Technology Program, where he studies business models for branchless banking and the development of agent networks. More broadly, he supports the agenda on information systems and shared technology platforms in the context of microfinance.

Before joining CGAP, Xavier worked with Bansefi in Mexico, where he led the development of a shared technology platform, a network of MFI services, and a payments switch for the microfinance sector. Prior to that, Xavier worked at McKinsey and Company, in topics related to business strategy and technology for large corporations both in the public and private sectors.

Xavier holds a master's degree in computer science from Stanford University, and an engineering degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, México.
