Microfinance Investor Roundtable on Responsible Finance

CGAP organized a Microfinance Investor Roundtable on Responsible Finance aimed at improving transparency on social performance in microfinance, in Madrid on June 4. This meeting built on the discussions and agreements reached at the MIV Roundtable on Responsible Finance held in Paris in June 2008. Thirty-three (33) participants attended this year’s meeting representing leading microfinance asset management companies, public investors, rating agencies and support organizations. The meeting discussed latest trends in the SRI market and helped reach consensus on social performance reporting.
