Rosamund Grady

  

   

Rosamund (Ros), until 1 July 2009, was a senior partner in the international law firm Mallesons Stephen Jacques (based in Melbourne, Australia) where her practice covered the regulation of financial institutions and products and related commercial transactions. Ros also held various senior management positions at Mallesons, including partner in charge of the Melbourne office (Mallesons' second largest), sponsoring partner of the Human Rights Law Group, and a member of the Mallesons Community Board. Ros left Mallesons to complete a master of public administration degree at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Prior to Mallesons, Ros spent eight years with the Commonwealth Public Service working on commercial law legislative projects. Most of that time was in the Attorney-General's Department. She is currently working as a consultant in the international financial inclusion/micro finance space (including for CGAP) as well as pursuing research interests in the regulatory issues arising from mobile banking in the financial inclusion context.
