IS Fund

The IS Fund is no longer accepting new MFI applications. 

The Information Systems (IS) Fund was launched in 2004 to help microfinance institutions make informed technology decisions. From 2004 to 2010, the IS Fund supported 132 MFIs around the world with over US$1.4 million in co-funding. 

The IS Fund was a joint initiative of CGAP and the EU/ACP Microfinance Programme. The European Commission's support to the Technology Program is part of its Microfinance Programme for Africa, the Caribbean and Pacific (ACP), which aims to contribute to poverty reduction through the development of more performing and effective financial services for poor people.
