EDA Rural Systems

EDA Rural Systems is a premier rural development consultancy organization in India. EDA has been engaged in microfinance capacity building, promotion, research and assessments in India and Asia over the past 18 years. It has taken a number of initiatives to give a new impetus to scale up capacity building, setting performance standards, policy formation and promoting the flow of finance and services to microfinance institutions in the region.

M-TRIL - EDA's training division - provides focused training combined with follow-up services. Along with the CGAP courses, M-TRIL also offers modified training modules to suit its Asian market and clients. The training team has conducted courses for individual microfinance institutions, networking bodies and bulk lenders, in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Myanmar and Pakistan. Participants of our courses have come from these countries but also from Indonesia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka and even from Africa (Gambia, Uganda, Zimbabwe).
