CGAP FY 2024 Annual Report

In FY24, CGAP began work on its new 5-year strategy (CGAP VII) with a view to fostering responsible and inclusive financial ecosystems that enable a green, resilient, and equitable world for all. In doing this, we elevated the focus of our work onto ways financial inclusion can better contribute to efforts to address development challenges like climate change, poverty, inequality (especially gender inequality), and conflict and violence. We also undertook work to increase the breadth and depth of financial inclusion and to support the broader financial inclusion sector.

The knowledge and insights we found and shared in FY23 can help governments, businesses, funders, and other development actors to improve financial inclusion and to better leverage it to achieve broader development goals. Our FY24 annual report covers the period from July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024 and provides further details on CGAP's areas of work. It highlights specific outcomes from some of our engagements.
