Agnes Allotey

Financial Sector Specialist

Agnes Allotey is a CGAP consultant and expert in digital financial services based in Accra, Ghana. As a core member of CGAP’s Ghana Team, Agnes has managed and contributed to key CGAP initiatives in the country, including work on closing the financial inclusion gender gap, digitizing tax payments, and helping the Government of Ghana to launch the world’s first Digital Financial Services Policy. She is also responsible for measuring and tracking impact across CGAP’s work in Ghana. Additionally, Agnes has successfully planned and executed groundbreaking events in the DFS industry such as the Industry Roundtable on Regulatory Sandboxes which led to the development of a sandbox for Fintechs at the Bank of Ghana.

Prior to joining CGAP, Agnes worked at McKinsey & Company, Bloomberg L.P., Dow Jones & Company and Milvik (BIMA). She has an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Bryn Mawr College.
