Sol Krause is an economist on the World Bank’s Financial Stability & Integrity team. She has worked for the Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative (StAR), a WB-UNODC partnership that supports international asset recovery efforts, in different roles since 2017. She leads projects related to beneficial ownership transparency reforms and risk assessments and is on the World Bank's delegation for the Financial Action Task Force, and other multilateral bodies. Before joining the World Bank in 2015, she worked in journalism and documentary films. Sol holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University and a master’s degree in International Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
