2017 CGAP Partner Event

The 2017 CGAP Partner Event gathered partner organizations to share leading edge thinking on customer-centric solutions that effectively serve low income customers, creating value for both customers and firms. Participating partners included banks, smallholder finance firms, digital platforms and Fintech companies keen to learn and share their experiences expanding financial services to low-income customers. Held in Dar es Salaam, the event provided an opportunity for peers to exchange knowledge on topics such as how to best learn from customers, design for use of services and optimize delivery of financial services.

A series of three online live chats was held during the event:  

• Day 1: Africa Fintech: The Promise of New Products and Experiences
• Day 2: Financial Solutions that Work for Low-Income Customers
• Day 3: Smallholder Families: The Business Case for Targeted Financial Services
