Amani M’Bale

Amani M’Bale is a digital financial services expert, who is working with USAID’s Bureau for Global Health, Office of Health Systems, to scale digital financial services (DFS) in health programs. Previously, Amani worked as an independent consultant, supporting clients to advance financial inclusion among marginalized communities in developing economies. Amani has worked for the United Nations Capital Development Fund in Rwanda, Liberia, and Uganda, as a chief technical adviser for financial inclusion. In Uganda, Amani launched the Mobile Money for the Poor Program and helped to establish partnerships in government and the private sector to provide DFS to rural communities.
