As a strategic communications specialist, Andrew works with teams across CGAP to develop effective communications strategies. He also contributes to online communications at CGAP, serving as the CGAP blog editor and as host of the Financial Inclusion Frontiers podcast.
Before joining CGAP in 2016, Andrew was a senior communications manager at the international development firm Chemonics, where he provided strategic communication expertise to teams across the company and managed multiple internal and external communication channels. Before that, he served as a technical proposal writer/editor for Chemonics, primarily its Asia division, and as a research consultant for Give2Asia, a nonprofit that advises private donors on their philanthropy in Asia.
Andrew has a master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
