Katie Turner is an independent consultant bringing over 15 years of experience in gender lens investing, ecosystem development, gender-smart technical assistance, blended finance, gender-climate nexus, and program design and development. Her work focuses on shifting financial systems to be more equitable in order to create positive and sustainable change. Katie’s expertise builds on her deep experience across Africa, Asia, and Latin America working with a range of ecosystem actors including impact investors, accelerators, investment and business associations, think tanks, and economic development organizations, and collaborating with funders and ecosystem builders such as GAC, USAID, BII, DFAT, IaDB, Criterion Institute and 2X Global. Katie is an active member of the Canada Forum for Impact Investment and Development (CAFIID) and holds an Honours BA in Economics and a Postgraduate Degree in International Development. She is fluent in English and Spanish
