Rebecca Rhodes

Rebecca Rhodes is a project manager for consumer protection and technology at the Global Off-Grid Lighting Association (GOGLA). Prior to joining GOGLA, Rebecca was the director of operations at Solaris Tanzania, leading the strategy and implementation of energy access activities in the Lake Zone of Tanzania. She also has experience in the off-grid sector in Rwanda and in project controls and management consultancy for large engineering projects in the UK. Rebecca has an MA in conflict, security and development from the University of Sussex, specializing in resource conflict and civil-military development approaches, and a BA in geography from the University of Cambridge, in which she focused on micro-finance interventions. Rebecca also holds the Project Management Qualification (PMQ) from the Association of Project Management. Professionally, Rebecca's passion is in the field of sustainable development, green growth, and financial inclusion. Outside of work, she enjoys walking in hills and mountains, swimming, and somehow getting around the occasional triathlon.
