Simrin provides strategic communications advice to CGAP’s projects on Supply-side Gender Disaggregated Data, Social Norms and Policy, Regulatory Architecture, Inclusive Finance and Crises, Climate-related Policies, and Impact Investing. Simrin also manages the production process for knowledge products at CGAP.

Simrin has a depth of experience both as a researcher and in communicating technical research across a variety of channels. Prior to joining CGAP, Simrin worked at the International Food Policy Research Institute, where she led strategic communications and managed multiple projects on gender, food systems, and agricultural development. 

Simrin holds a master’s degree in International Development Policy from Georgetown University and a bachelor's in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. She is fluent in Hindi.
