Nokuthula provides strategic communication advisory for CGAP projects focusing on Impact Investing, Responsible Digital Finance Ecosystems and Women’s Economic Empowerment.
She is a dynamic communications professional with 8 years’ experience in developing and implementing communication strategies within emerging markets. Prior to joining CGAP, Nokuthula led communications and outreach for an impact investment fund – SEAF – focusing on increasing visibility of SEAF’s global impact and investments in climate resilience, agribusiness, financial services, and sustainable development focus areas. Prior to her role at SEAF, she worked with a scale-up fintech – Nomanini – based in Nairobi, where she tailored outreach strategies towards expanding access to financial services within underserved communities in Southern, Eastern and Western Africa.
Nokuthula holds a Master of Arts in Media Theory and Practice, as well as a Bachelor of Honors in International Relations from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
