Tammy Mehdi manages CGAP’s digital communications, focusing on strategic outreach and engagement through CGAP’s social and digital platforms.
Tammy has eight years of experience developing and executing global communications strategies at the World Bank. Before joining CGAP in 2022, she led communications for various global initiatives focused on governance and food security. Prior to joining the World Bank, she spent a year at American University first as a Research Assistant then as an Adjunct Instructor focusing on strategic communication and culture. Her previous experience also includes training roles at Edelman, the U.S. Department of State, and the White House.
She holds Master’s degrees in International Relations and Public Relations as part of the Public Diplomacy program at Syracuse University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the American University of Sharjah, UAE.
