Financial Services for Platform Workers: The Current State and Work Ahead

A diverse set of individuals and microenterprises generate their livelihoods through digital platforms, growing fast in emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs). We also discuss key challenges to extracting the value of platform work data responsibly, and reaching women workers who tend to exist in less mainstream parts of this ecosystem.
